ABOUT ME
I began my career by teaching English as a second language in Iran for four years until I moved to pursue my MBA in Finance for two years in Malaysia. After that, I moved back home and worked for two years at the International Department of the Iran Chamber of Commerce.

Next, I transitioned my career to become a credit analyst for four years in a commercial bank. In 2013, I moved to the United States in hopes of completing a Master of Science in Finance at UNT and worked as a tutor in the Statistics and Operation Research lab for two years.

The next step for me to advance my career then became obtaining my Ph.D. in the Management Sciences department focusing on Operations Management, also at UNT. I passed the comprehensive exam, and I am currently working diligently on my dissertation focused on illicit drug supply chain.
My research interests are sustainability in the supply chain, supply chain, and finance and data analytics including machine learning.
